Significant association (p < 0.05) between pre -test score of knowledge on prevention and management of varicose veins with history of hypertension. There was no association between the pre-test knowledge score and selected socio demographic variables (age, weight, height, gender, education, total service experience, duty hours per day, position adapting during duty hours, history of varicose vein, family history of varicose veins, exercise, alcohol intake and smoking habit).
